George Zimmerman will stand trial beginning June 10, facing charges of second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., earlier this year.
Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara told reporters, “I don’t know today when we’ll be ready for trial,” then tweeted he would seek a hearing in April or May regarding “self-defense immunity” — better known as “stand your ground.”
